CRAFTSMAN CMMT42031 Drive Impact Socket Review

I recently purchased a 1/2" drive impact socket for automotive work and have been impressed with its durability. Through trial and error, I found that this socket can handle even the toughest nuts and bolts without getting damaged... It's also very easy to use and fits perfectly on my impact wrench. The one downside is that it's a bit on the heavy side, but that's a small price to pay for such high-quality construction..

Let me start by saying that they work as expected. 5 stars for functionality. Minus 2 stars for relying heavily on the Craftsman brand and not worthy of the name. At over $6 a socket I was disappointed, these are Chinese (Taiwanese) imports, they come without a case (they are sold in a box) and they have no finishes. When the smeared "CRASTMAN" wears off, I have to look for the embossed name on the back to remind myself why I spent so much more on this set than what you can buy at Harbor…
