Good socket, not entertaining

He doesn't know any tricks. My last one committed an act of enforced disappearance while incarcerated on a case. It was wonderful. This only loosens and tightens the screws. Socket 0/10 Mage10/10

Pros
  • The best in his niche
Cons
  • Empty

When they disappear

For some reason 10mm rosettes always tend to grow out of their legs and disappear. It's a great cheap replacement if you can afford to wait a few days for Prime shipping instead of running to the hardware store.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Appearance

I needed a shorter socket and I got it.

Wish it was a little smaller/shorter but it worked in the end. It also needs to be strong so it can be used with a switch/puller to remove rusty bolts from my turbo. I have always trusted Master. Excellent quality. Thanks seller.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Normal quality for the price

I have a lot of Craftsman items that are 30 years old. My set didn't have 20mm and 21mm. old set but goes well together. They work as they should and are well made. The only problem is that some sizes are a lot harder to find today than they were a few years ago.

Pros
  • Sample for one year
Cons
  • There are cons

It seems just as well made as the old Craftsman tools

which I have been for many years. I bought this to replace the same size snap on socket I lost years ago and finally needed this size. It doesn't look out of place in a snap-on base rail.

Pros
  • . Much good vibes
Cons
  • . Not bad

perfect fit for acura/honda oil drain plug

was excited to do my first do it yourself oil change on my acura but then found my cheap set of ratchet wrenches stopped at 16mm nest. warrrgh. thank you amazon for the fast shipping and to the master for a high quality socket. It's a bit longer than my cheap sockets, which is good for accessing the slightly recessed drain plug. Also perfect for an 11 year old drain plug with damaged areas.

Pros
  • superb design
Cons
  • hard to say

Known quality that doesn't disappoint

With all the heads I've bought over the years, I've never been able to get hold of a 9mm head. This was fixed with the purchase of this Craftsman socket. It is a hex head with a polished steel finish. I received a quality instrument that will be appreciated by those who receive it after my departure. I will no longer find myself in the middle of a project without the necessary 3/8" 9mm disc.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Unreliable

Handicraft use does not come out yes read correctly unreal!

I thought tools were supposed to make your job easier. That's why we use them. .I'm not going to chop my hands or pinch my skin trying to free the damn thing. Imagine the team responsible for packaging this item laughing at how poorly designed it is. Don't think executives will find this amusing. How did such a poorly designed retail product come to this? I will buy it at my local store. lol

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Not sure

It was a fault on individual power heads

I received this head with a major socket forging defect. This caused a ratchet landing issue in the socket. I contacted SB&D about this and they sent a replacement socket. The replacement was properly forged, but the chrome plating began to peel off on first use. Instead of calling service again, I just sanded and sanded the part that was peeling and I ended up with a beautiful nest. I am very lenient with SB&D's stance on the Craftsman brand and they handled the initial warranty/service…

Pros
  • Hand tools
Cons
  • Friction pack

Many photos compared to early 90's Craftsman sockets made in USA

To my dismay I damaged one of my Craftsman sockets purchased in 1993. Handyman tools have served me well, but over the past few years I've discovered other brands like Williams, Wright, SK, and Proto that aren't much more expensive but are made in the USA and are good quality. I've also seen some Taiwan made hand tools that work just as well or sometimes better than my good old 90's Craftsman set. In the last 5 years I have seen Sears replace most Craftsman hand tools with imported suppliers…

Pros
  • Single sockets
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
