Description of 🚲 Japanese-Made Crane Bike Bell, Suzu Bicycle Bell for Urban, Cruiser, Road, or MTB Bikes, Fits Handlebar Diameters 22.2mm to 26.0mm

SUZU BRASS BELL, STEEL CLAMP: Retro, vintage premium bicycle bell with curved lever striker. Fits 22.2-26.0mm OD bars. The BRASS model has a 55mm wide polished dome of natural brass. It will patina with age. BEAUTIFUL, RESONANT SOUND: Brass or aluminum alloy dome-shaped bell for a bright and pleasant ring. The ring of a brass bell resonates longer vs other materials. Crane Bell knows the pleasantness of the ring should come second to safety and loudness, but we choose to make BOTH a priority. PREMIUM JAPANESE BELL: Crane Bell Co. Ltd is bringing beautiful Japanese craftsmanship to your bike! We didn’t compromise quality on any part of this bell. Our bicycle bells are truly unique and for bikers who care about the little things. BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE DESIGN: Looks elegant and smart on city bikes and traditional road bikes. Metal construction is much more durable than bells with plastic mounts and hammers. Smaller, more aesthetically pleasing to the ears than a bike horn. EASY INSTALLATION FOR MOST HANDLEBARS: Installs with a Phillips screwdriver. The Suzu’s steel band mount fit diameters from 22.2mm to 26.0.mm. The Suzu Mini’s die-cast mount fits bars 22.2mm and 23.8mm Fits mountain bikes, road bikes, touring bikes, cruisers, kid’s bikes, and e-bikes. Can be mounted to quill stems with compatible diameters.

Successful purchase at Sport

The call has a pleasant clear sound. It's loud enough to be noticed by people and cyclists I pass on a busy street. The standard bell mount doesn't open wide enough for my handlebars, so I improvised and used a bungee cord. That works great. I went for the bronze finish because it was a few bucks cheaper. It was my fault because in the midday sun the bell shines brightly. Otherwise this is a big challenge for me.

Good sound, attractive call.

One note: There are two slots on the clamp that can be used to install a bell on both large and small diameter handlebars. Didn't notice at first and thought I'd have to send them back. I've been using the bell for a few weeks now and it works fine. I love that you can easily ring the bell "quietly" to create a quieter "chime," or you can press the spring-loaded clapper harder to make the sound louder. The sound is pleasant.

I would avoid this seller: NICEGO

Bought three months ago. Two of them were marked "shipped and sold by Revain.com LLB" and were of excellent quality, with a Japanese stamp etc. A call from NICEGO arrived stained, damaged, no Japanese stamp and probably fake. It's distinctly different from the other two. Each part of the bell looks like a lower replica of a real crane bell. Also, the bell arrived with a stain on the dome and a dented top nut. Pretty disappointing. I would recommend buying only when on sale and only shipping…

Make them unique. in accessories

A charming lady used to have several bicycle bells and she couldn't stand them. She used them to hilariously announce her presence on her walker. I replaced her last previous one with this cool bell. Looks impressive, easy to install, easy to use. She can change the intensity of the call depending on how far she pulls the lever before releasing it. The sound of the bell is certainly eye catching as it is very loud at maximum release and will linger unless you touch the bell itself to muffle it.

Volume is safe for accessories

This little bell is very simple. It consists of only a few pieces of metal and is very attractive. However, none of this matters. The important thing is that you can hear it from space. When you hit the hammer and let go of this thing, it makes a pulsing sound that spreads as far as the eye can see. If you are cycling, ring the bell when you approach an intersection or a dead end on the path. You can easily draw attention to yourself. This sound penetrates the veil of a rolled-up window and a…

Great sound with a few extras.

I bought this ringer after hearing it while on a bike ride in the Portland metro area. Installation was fairly easy, but balancing the clamp and tightening the bolts was a little tricky. Also, the bell has dead tones depending on how the trigger is pulled. So I can't always set up a "just like that" trigger in alarm mode. It's a little annoying, but I bet muscle memory will eventually take over. The bell works great when driving on multi-purpose lanes (the sound carries well around blind…

You received an item other than the Crane Bell!

I ordered a Crane Suzu Lever Strike Brass Bell and received one from Origin 8. The sticker on the box said the bell was Suzu Crane, when clearly it wasn't. Obviously this was a conscious attempt to pass on a different product. I didn't even open the package and immediately requested a refund. Luckily Amazon is great and refunded my money straight away and covered the return postage. Before I placed my order I read a review or two on here that said this was an issue with the supplier J&L Cycle…

Nice loud chime but be careful with the clip

This is a good chime, it makes a very clear 'chime' that anyone will recognize when a bike approaches. It can be heard up to 50 meters away. I had one caveat, and now when I tell you this won't be a problem for you, it's that it barely fits on my Diamondback bike's handlebars because they aren't thick. . I'm only mentioning the brand of my bike because it's a regular, mass-produced bike made in China and probably many of you have one. If you look at the bell clamp you will see that it has two…
