Love It I Love It on Laptop Accessories

Okay, here's the deal. I want something small to fit in the space provided, I wanted it to look unobtrusive. You have to play with it a bit to get the height adjustment, which is not normal when moving the pool up and down, but the height does. I have an old HP Pavilion that goes well with my animation keyboard underneath. I love that it's portable, although I think I'll just order another one for the office. This allows me to sit or stand due to a neck injury. Exactly what the doctor ordered

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Sad Hardware

Almost perfect for stand

I trust my laptop here, but am a bit annoyed that the lip at the front edge of the platform, the part that supports the computer, prevents me from opening or closing my laptop without slide the laptop away from this part without lifting it. Seems to be something that can easily be fixed with small design tweaks, but also something that just annoys me for a second when I open or close my laptop and then get down to business. However, a very solid stand with a surprisingly small footprint…

Amazing product. unless your bolt breaks.

I REALLY want to give this product 5 stars. But unfortunately I can't. Within 15 minutes of opening it, I was trying to adjust the height and one of the large bolts popped out. Apparently it was torn from the inside and was no longer used. Soon I'm going to the hardware store to find something more durable to replace it with. Overall the product is really great so I don't want to return it. It seems extremely durable (no bolt) which is exactly what I needed. I also don't trust the included…

Not as good as the first Crane Stand (same model) I bought

bought a Crane Stand last year and used it at a lot of gigs (I play about 50-100 a year) - and it worked Great. This is a very solid piece of hardware. Last month I decided to buy a second stand (of the same model) so I don't have to disassemble my home gig setup. Well, this new one seems like the parts (the levers that tighten the stand) are cheap. did. It fell apart during a concert and my laptop almost fell over. I almost got it back but I was able to fix it myself. So for now everything…

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Couldn't find a better one

I had an old professional version of this stand for several years. From what I remember I paid about double the current price for the Pro version when I bought this stand. I gave it up (from DJing) for desk work and lifted my laptop up for airflow/cooling, partly because it's lost some of its grip/rigidity. I tried the well preserved foldable Hercules and didn't like it at all so I sent it back. I really think the Crane Plus is better than the Pro (even though it was new). It's more durable…

  • Great price

Breaks easily - almost ruined my DJ set

When I first bought it it worked great. Unfortunately, after just a week of brief use, the levers holding the stand have become very loose. Basically, the faucet just supported the weight of my laptop at the perfect angle. Unfortunately, if someone in the club accidentally trips over it, the whole thing will come loose and collapse. It happened last Saturday when I was hanging up and my laptop fell on my DDJ-SX. Luckily nothing broke or turned off, but my main volume knob was down to zero so it

Pros
  • Full set
Cons
  • Empty

I bought it back in August 2014. I had no problem using it with my Pioneer DDJ-SR in the Odyssey Flight Zone case. I usually remove the Glide Style Platform from the body and use it instead. Love how it brings your MBP closer to you instead of pushing it back. However, lately I have noticed that my MBP leaned forward a bit when it was on the crane stand. I took my Mac off the stand and tried to tighten the bottom nut. To do this, I had to slide the stand out a bit from under my Odyssey case…

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Three weeks ago I decided I wanted more stands for my second laptop and Push 2 or Maschine 2 mk3. I ordered two Crane Stand Plus CV3. I was skeptical about the CRANE PLUS CV3 as soon as I opened the box. I had loyalty and trust in the brand. Not so much now. Do I trust Crane's current design or do I return both? Shame on her the first time, shame on me the second time. The rod and fittings fell off after three weeks. Now I only have one of the newly purchased pairs that works (but for how long)

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
