A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

If you listen to something without interruption, then everything is OK, but as a universal device it requires troubles to use it Has pros: Good sound, 250 ohm headphones swing, many preset profiles and software enhancers Some cons: Constant random sound dumps and reset gain settings. What happens, for example, when watching a movie, paused for a minute, you return and the sound is already coming from another device, and when the system starts seeing this card again, you need to reconfigure it…

Works on Windows, MacOS, Linux and ChromeOS / CloudReady

You don't buy this device hoping that it will be the best audio device you have ever heard. You buy this device because you need a USB dongle that can act as a headset adapter for conference calls (VOIP), listening to music, videos, etc. The audio software only works for Windows as it is a gaming dongle. It is very good. But what impresses me the most is that it works like hell on every platform I've used it on. The chip they use in this thing is well supported on all platforms out of the box…

PS4 User Rating:

So I'm guessing most PS4 users who reviewed this item ended up here for the same reason I did, you have headphones or a headset plugged into your controller and it's just not loud enough for your liking. I play a lot of R6 where game sound can make all the difference in a match and I recently bought a "Hyperx Cloud Core Headset" (another great product) and while the sound quality was great it wasn't loud enough. Well, it turns out that no matter how much money you spend on high-quality…

Great alternative for voice and gaming

First I'll explain why I was looking for a sound card. The built-in audio on my motherboard just isn't that great. Realtek ACL892 is crap. The native drivers in Windows want to work in 7.1 even if you have a two-speaker headset connected. I had to force install the Realtek drivers ("Windows has detected that your current driver may be better", my ass). just so it works like a regular 2 speaker instead of trying to create surround sound in games only to have the audio mute. I play Day-Z with my…

For $50 this is a beast.

I doubted something so small would be playable. I decided to jump because it was newer than any of the built-in sound cards in its price range and had excellent reviews. I'm not disappointed. This, along with my Superlux HD668b (I recommend anyone on a budget to check out the HD668b headphones) gave me the best directional sound of my life. I've been a PC gamer for 24 years. I had a lot of sound cards and headphones back then and this little thing crushed them all in the gaming department. He…

Uncorrectable noise renders this product unusable

A few people have spoken about the noise on this unit but there were some comments that suggested it was a setting issue so I chimed in risk one. I shouldn't have done that. The hiss will drive you crazy. I tried every "fix" I could find online and then contacted support. They gave me a few more things to try (and completely screwed up my audio settings in the process) but the problem persisted. In the end they asked me to send them information about my computer so they can find the cause. The…

Pro out, sub pro in, extension cord saves the day - if sold

First impression: 5/5 stars no mic. I was really looking forward to that. On Windows 10 it worked from a package. I plugged it in, plugged in my headphones and no hiss. Again: no hiss. Apparently they fixed this in their July 2017 patch. On all my headphones, old and new, with and without a microphone, they all work well. Until I try to write. Substudio recording at the price of pro gear: -1 star So when the description said "24-bit/96kHz" audio, I was expecting the audio to be "24-bit/96kHz"…
