Bought to get into hard to reach nuts on the flywheel. I only used the key on 5/8. Jaws significantly widened and 3 nuts rounded. Make the job even harder. I ended up cutting off one of my good keys and welded on a piece of flat iron to get it in place. I would not buy again.

My last set of sockets lasted 40 years. Do not laugh! Over the years I've lost an outlet here and there. Anyway, I looked at a lot of brands. They feel great in your hand. They don't rust, which is very important for my sailboat. I have also ordered other Crescent instruments and they are all equally well made. Would recommend to my son (will be one day). Would buy again.

I really like this socket wrench set. Super tight ratchet. Exceeds the price of cargo transport in the port. High visibility heads are easy to manipulate, fit very tightly to the bolts and are much easier to hold than polished Craftsman and deadbolts. Have used them a few times now with some ftlbs that would break the port charging connector and no cracks or curves. For the price they are unbeatable.

Crescent is a far cry from what it used to be. About 4 months of service as a technician and he pulled his teeth out and the lever came loose from the ratchet. The only reason this isn't a 1 star rating is because I still use outlets on a daily basis. They have excellent finishes, easy to read and very well preserved. But I had to go back to my old sickle ratchet. One was made before the company lost its credibility.

I can't say anything about the sockets themselves because I don't need all of them and they're not intended for extreme applications. But the driver himself is quite pleasant. Strong, feels good in the hand, no wobbly parts, does not rattle when shaking the ratchet. feels strong I'd like just one quick reset button, but it's not that big of a deal. I have other sockets of the same size and this one is heavier just makes me think it would be more durable.

I gave 5 stars because Amazon sent me a replacement quickly. A few parts were missing from the socket set when it was delivered. I called and notified Amazon and they sent me a new set overnight. In addition, this set is quite durable, the sockets are of high quality. I used it to remove the oil pan drain plug on my Camaro. It's easy to clean and I like that it has a black finish. I can recommend this set, it's solid and a great price!

These wrenches offer excellent value for money. The sizing is general and the fit and finish is really high quality. The broaching and grinding at the end of the box is nice and square, and the open end isn't "lobster claws", leaving a nice, slim profile. The downside is they don't do die sizes on these only laser engrave or maybe screen print? I'm not sure, but they are legible on a black background.
