Great sound and quality!

I love that I can use Bluetooth from my phone and play my Spotify lists. If you adjust the equalizer in the Spotify app or on your phone, the sound will be even better! VERY LOUD, can blow up your ghetto!

Pros
  • Enjoy music from flash drive or SD card
Cons
  • Empty

Incredibly loud in portable audio and video equipment

While it would benefit from slightly lower frequencies, the sound is clear and LOUD. This places the arrow in the boombox. I play old school rap so the bass isn't that important. Tuner is excellent, good signal. Pretty value

Pros
  • Built-in mic and recording lets you personalize your mixes
Cons
  • Almost everything is included

Bullshit: Boomboxes

This is bullshit. A 40-year-old boombox is way better than that junk from China. This is true, not what her husband put up as a "review". If you want something that sounds good, get the Panasonic RX 5150 or Sharp, Sanyo, not this flimsy thing. save your money

Pros
  • Listen to cassettes, listen to AM/FM radio, or connect via Bluetooth and stream digital music to your phone through the speakers
Cons
  • Power

Awesome Boombox Sound

Just received today and though I am haven't tried everything, i'm impressed. I was looking for an old boombox but they are all either expensive or broken or just don't sound very good. While a vintage box would be more ideal, I love the idea of having something new to play my tapes with. The radio sounds very good and I've never turned the volume up past half in our kitchen. The radio sounds great too. The tone may vary from cassette to cassette due to deterioration over time or the way it was…

Pros
  • Listen at home on mains power or use the extra battery and grab the handle to take this recorder on the go (uses 6 D batteries; batteries not included)

Best ghetto blaster for the money

I bought this bad boy and am very happy with it. I have used all the features of this device and can only recommend it for purchase. The only thing that worries me is that when connected to Bluetooth, the sound is much duller than when listening to cassettes or radio. I've only had the player for a month, but I use it almost every day and it works great. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on this tape recorder, not only for your own peace of mind but also to ensure your cassettes…

Pros
  • Bass boost for powerful sound that skips two volume meters
Cons
  • Minor issues

Looks good but meh box

Well it looks like an old-school ghetto blaster. Sounds ok, the full range speakers aren't bad and the magnets are quite large compared to some of the original units I've serviced. I've attached some photos of the internals so those curious can see if there are indeed tweeters in there and how they're put together. This is not a complete technical overview; I just wanted old school radio for nostalgia. I've included a short video clip to show a sound sample and see the counters in action. I…

Pros
  • Built-in mic and recording capability allows you to personalize your mixtapes
Cons
  • I'll be silent
