Good system, there are a few nuances.

Like many reviewers of this product, I own a vacation home that has been vacant for an extended period of time. It's in the heart of British Columbia, where temperatures often drop well below freezing and power outages are fairly common. The ability to remotely check the room temperature is very valuable for security. I found this unit easy to install and set up. It took about 30 minutes. I set it to warn of low temperature, water and high humidity. This allows you to select a few ranges and aโ€ฆ

Works well, easy to set up, worth the money.

Bought this and additional sensor separately. The fold-out black plate module is the base station or gateway. It plugs into an Ethernet cable connected to a cable modem or switch. There is also a power adapter that attaches to the wall. The stick that displays H2O is the actual sensor. The wall mount bracket attached to the back can also be attached to the bottom as a table stand. Also shown is a water sensor connected to a sensor labeled "H2O Sensor" which has a 6 foot cable. I placed the H2Oโ€ฆ

Temperature, Humidity and Humidity/Dry Sensor - While working - Not working now

I bought this product to monitor the temperature of my home when travelling. It was really easy to set up with the Android mobile app. I just followed the instructions and everything worked the first time. With the mobile app, you can easily view temperature, humidity and wet/dry status. Historical data is available as a chart or table. The mobile app does not allow you to download data, but the PC app has a download feature. Notifications (via email and/or text format) can be configured forโ€ฆ
