This worked to tighten the crank bolt on a 4.7 Tundra. I used an impact wrench to loosen the screw, but it might come in handy for that as well. You just need a good strong pipe long enough to reach the frame. A note: A washer and nut must be used as a spacer between this tool and the crank pulley, otherwise the depth will be wrong.

Does the job on my 03 RX300. I wish I knew what the crank diameter is so I can find the appropriate cheat to keep the tool locked when removing the crankshaft pulley. It can also (very easily) include a harmonic balancer removal plate (you can just get a pulley removal tool from AutoZone or something similar).

Lexus IS300 2001 release. The tool worked fine. I assumed there would be a 1/2 drive connector to connect one of my breakers, but that's not the case. I went to the home depot to find a piece of pipe to use as a rogue rod. As a result, I got a pipe with a diameter of 1 inch. I also took a second, longer tube to use on my breaker. The tool worked well, the only complaint was that I wasted time looking for a cheat bar to connect to.

Anyone attempting to change the timing belt and water pump themselves should definitely purchase this tool. It costs $55 to buy and use only once. You can always try to rent it out to those who don't want or can't buy it. I hesitated, thinking I could complete the craft without him. I regret not buying it from the start - so don't make the same mistake I did and just buy it. This saves you headaches and bleeding joints.

This tool is quite expensive but if you need to remove an insanely stuck crank bolt on the latest Toyota it's definitely worth it. Make sure it fits your crankshaft pulley type. I read in some reviews that it doesn't fit some engines. As always, pay attention to the threads when installing, support the heavy tool by threading the bolts into the crank pulley.
