Cubitron 982C Precision Ceramic Diameter Review

We use them in our welding shop for grinding exotic alloys. The best abrasive we have found. We need to lock them up as their staff love how well they work and will use them for anything they can find.

They remove metal so easily it's scary. Not intended for easy removal of mill scale. Also, they only work for flat apps. Depending on the situation, you will also need other drives. You can do a 20-30 degree bevel on a thick board fairly easily if you have no other options.

Simply the fastest grinder I've seen to remove welds in sheet metal to make it flat. Lasts a lot longer than I thought. Metal splinters/dust are flying around so wear a respirator and safety goggles. Cuts very quickly UPDATE: Now after extensive use I have to downgrade my rating from 5 to 2 stars. All Cubitron abrasives cut very quickly and do not clog like others. This style screws directly into the spindle of the 5/8-11 grinder. Unfortunately they have a hub with 6 pointed tabs that pierce the disc but don't crimp completely.
