Will scratch your glass top - DO NOT BUY

Not only will it scratch your glass top, my sister in law cut her finger cleaning it. At the bottom of the pans are protrusions that contain metal.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • I won't tell

It doesn't work with induction cooktops

I bought this set because according to the packaging and product description it works with induction cooktops, but when I tried to use it it didn't work (I side-by-side with a working one steel pot used). Nice crockery, shame I had to go back. Maybe it's the brand of the induction cooker? (Jenne Eyre)

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • It's driving me crazy

Not for induction: cookware

Saucepans seem to be the favourite. They have all the properties to be a set unless you're using them for induction. They are slowly warming up. and I mean very slowly. I almost fell asleep waiting for the water to boil. I have one of the most popular induction ranges on the market and have used other cookware with much better results. You are already on your way back to the Amazon.

Works poorly with induction cooktop

As another reviewer said, this cookware is NOT compatible with my induction cooktop even though it is labeled "induction cookware". It transferred some heat, allowing me to cook simple meals like scrambled eggs. However, it doesn't transfer enough heat to boil water, which I think is important when cooking.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Plenty

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

After one use the potty looks like it has been with me for years. There are marks on the bottom, but these are not dishwashing marks because I used wooden spoons. I didn't throw it away or put it in the dishwasher. I just washed it with soap and water and that's what happened. I give it back! Such expensive utensils should not look like this after 2 uses. I used it on a glass plate. I also have to say that it's pretty tough!

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • thin

Disappointed with cookware sets

Before I decided to buy this set from Cuisinart I read a lot about different cookware sets and their characteristics. Right after I received it I gave away my old pots and pans and wish I had them. Cuisinart cookware is very heavy, which I like because it's durable and retains heat. However, large pots/pans are difficult to lift with one hand when you want to drain them. What I also don't like at all is the slightly raised center of the pans. The food isn't even on the inside and tends to peel…

Pros
  • Good product for the price

  • confused

UPDATE: **Not so** Great product!

UPDATE: After good usage I am changing my rating from 5 stars to 1 star. Although we've never used metal utensils on these pans, the center of some of them will flake off. The concave shape makes frying in oil or stewing more difficult, as the liquid drains off the sides and the food burns. After contacting customer service they were no help and I felt I did something wrong by requesting a new pan. While they work well for induction, they are not well thought out. No response from…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

VERY disappointed - cookware sets

we thought we were getting what we paid for in a mid priced set. We didn't expect this to be a professional cookware set, but we also didn't expect the coating to peel off the sides/rim on first use. Nor did we expect Ikea's thinnest plastic spatula to leave an indelible indentation in the bottom of the smallest pan. They are impractical to wash due to the shape (I guess that's what I get for buying something I knew couldn't be washed in the dishwasher). We paid about $120 for the set - and as…
