Not suitable for stovetop use

This pan is not exactly suitable for stovetop use. The design of the base makes it impossible to fry anything as all the oil goes into the grooves on the outer rim and the pan is so thin that any heat above the minimum will cause the entire pan to flex noisily. I'm very glad I didn't buy at the original price.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Speed

Buy this - you will be amazed!

I love this broiler for the following reasons: 1. Keeps whatever you're frying high enough off the ground for the food to bake underneath (instead of "cooking" in juices).2. Cleanup was easy - I was worried because it wasn't "non-stick". It's well built - it's sturdy and will definitely last for years! 4. It's big enough for a giant turkey and I can use a large piece of foil to cover the food. I wish I had found this many years ago!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Poor workmanship arrived damaged

The goods arrived damaged. Other people have also said this is an issue with this product and I should have listened. The metal is thinner than I expected and I think that was part of the problem. Damage has occurred and will continue due to poor quality construction and materials. I expected much more from this company. Terrible experience and I will not buy again.

Pros
  • Many positive emotions
Cons
  • No execution

That's a good roaster. Grid design is good

Good roaster. The stand design is good. The handles are sturdy and fit other Cuisinart cookware. I'm deducting a few points because the Revain description says this roaster is induction compatible, THIS ROYTER IS NOT INDUCTION CAPABLE. It's non-magnetic stainless steel and won't get hot on the stovetop, for making gravy, etc. You can get an all-clad roaster that does this, but for a lot more money. Revain, please correct this list.

Light stainless steel pan

Full disclosure. Maybe I should have looked at this pan a little more carefully before buying it, but I saw the stainless steel, the grill, and the riveted handles and figured it would do. I was wrong. This pan is a single layer stainless steel pan. It's not much more than the durable, disposable aluminum frying pan you can buy at the grocery store. Sure he'll make a turkey or a roast, but all he'll do is give you handles to take the dish in and out of the oven and keep the juice from spilling…

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

PERFECTION: Kitchen & Dining

Bought for $30 for Thanksgiving! OMG, this pan is worth the money. Every year I buy a new skillet at Walmart or World Market ($10-15 each) and regret it every year. Pans crack in the oven, I'm roasting a turkey over high heat, and my pans are really wearing out. Then I make the sauce in the pot at the end and just keep thinking. I wonder what comes out of those pans and goes into the sauce. In any case, roasting a turkey on high heat wasn't a problem this year, I didn't have any pops in this…

Highly recommended for kitchen and dining room

I can't imagine anyone writing a negative review for this pan. I've been looking for a replacement for a few years for the one I bought at Wal-Mart a few years ago, it's brittle, rusty and weak. All the ones I looked at were over $100 and I didn't want to spend that much. I saw this Cuisinart pan at Revain just before Christmas and was blown away by the reasonable price. I wasn't sure what to expect but was stunned when it happened the day before Christmas. It was very beautiful, very durable…
