Cuisinart 2mm Thin Slicing Disc: Precision at its Finest Review

I have used it several times since purchasing it and have not been disappointed. This is a great product, works exactly as expected. I was tempted to buy a separate food slicer because I wanted thin slices, but I didn't want another appliance having to find storage space. I decided to buy a nozzle for my Crusinart and I was very satisfied. Thanks for a great product.

This is a must have if you want to slice everything with the cuisinart food processor. The middle one originally supplied is too thick and the food falls through the gap uncut. I've used this thin one to make Asian stir-fries like sliced beef, carrots, scallops, and geoduck. It saves a lot of time and is easy to clean.

We often use this disk to grate cabbage with a grater fine enough to use the marinade that we use for various side dishes and frying. While we were visiting our son and cooking something, we found that her Cuisinart was missing that particular cutting disc. Thicker discs are not suitable for fine graters, so we immediately ordered these 2mm ones. We believe that palatability improves when food is finely chopped.

I was looking for this thin 2mm cutting disc to go with my Cuisinart. I made this model's drive fit my processor, and it does. The 4mm disc that comes with the Cuisinart just doesn't make the potatoes thin enough for homemade potatoes. Those 2mm are perfect. I also used it for my English pickle. At first I thought I wasted my money on this blade because I expected an even finer cut from the blade, but now that I have this 2mm blade, so will I a 4mm blade and a 6mm blade, I've used them all and I like the different thicknesses of my vegetables. This blade is ideal for cabbage. The thickest blade I use for slicing olives, cucumbers and pickles. And I use the medium blade for carrots and celery.
