Installation was easy

At first I was suspicious of the quality because of the low price. The clutch is a lot heavier than I expected. Great product for the price. Installation was easy. The holes lined up perfectly with the factory holes in the frame. Installation took about 23 minutes. (It took 10 of those minutes to figure out how to reset the replacement part)

Matches exterior accessory perfectly

The only difficulty with the installation was pulling out the connectors that connect the bumper and three piece body. By doing this as carefully as possible, the screw pattern will line up perfectly. Don't be afraid to add a little extra "um," as the paint on the threads of the welded bolts makes the bolt feel like it's going into a cross thread.

Ease of installation. - Coupler

Absolutely gorgeous! Once I figured out the nut mount that someone had removed, it was easy to install along with the wiring harness I received separately. It was easy for us lathe operators. To those who answered my question about screws, thanks guys. They come with bolts. Again, the wiring harness is sold separately. Tighten these screws. All there to be sure.

Somewhat easy installation. Looks great and great price.

Installed on a 10 year old Grand Cherokee. The only real issues were removing the bar which uses one of the 4 holes that connect to the main frame. The bolt head was covered with a bumper cover and a bumper cover. A friend ended up holding the bumper so I could get my wrench (who was shocked it was metric) to remove that bar. Once removed, all that remains is to put the Curt Hitch back in place, insert 4 screws and you're done. The 6 new rivets that fit into the bumper fascia in the wheel…

Great quality product that is cheaper than what you will find in movers/warehouses.

My boyfriend moved to Michigan from Arizona. She wanted to use a trailer-hitched cargo truck for the trip, but her Grand Cherokee didn't have a factory towing package. The local warehouse and warehouse charged her nearly $200 to install the hitch, not including the electrical wiring! She doesn't need to pull a trailer or anything with lights so I bought this for her. Installation was easy, 4 large screws and that's it. Make sure you have a torque wrench handy that can handle up to 70 feet or so

Curt Mfg makes a quality product!

I easily gave this product 5 stars. The surface of the receiver looks the same as the picture, very shiny and smooth. This item took about 40 minutes to install from start to finish. All the hardware required was included and the instructions were very clear on what is required to get the jeep ready to install. I installed this item on my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado 4x4. I found this item to be easier to obtain than trying to buy a factory hitch and cutting the bumper and getting the trim…

Very satisfied! for external accessories

This Curt Manufacturing Class III receiver was extremely easy to install! I installed it on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The hardest part was getting my father-in-law to listen instead of cutting corners and making "long cuts"! He insisted we not lower the hoop all the way so I spent half the time getting him to keep the dangling hoop off the receiver so I could tighten the bolts! It was extremely easy to install; It would be easier if we removed the tire like INSTRUCTIONS INSTRUCTIONS…
