Protects our Humane Society license plates. There is a lot of road work going on here, and gravel and rocks are constantly flying around. There was a huge hole in the old skid plate, but it did the job. Highly recommended. You don't have to pay a lot of money to protect these special plates.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. The only problem I had was that it ripped during installation. It was probably the installer's fault, but it cracked very quickly and easily. Otherwise everything is perfect and there are no visible cracks. I would buy another one if I ever needed one.

This lid cannot be used with a "trim ring". It seems designed to be used alone. It's so thick and poorly designed around the edges that you have to use longer than regular screws/bolts to hold it in place. Plastic also scratches very easily. Simply wiping with a soft cloth will scratch the surface. I can't imagine it going on like this much longer.

It would be 5 stars if there was a little more FLEX in the plastic. Local stores don't sell CLEAR in smaller towns like mine. I miss the auto parts from the 70's and 80's at all the hot rodding stores. Now everything is commercialized and only what makes the most money. These parts are now ONLINE ONLY! I recommend this product to protect your slabs from stones and insects.

Bought a pair of these for use in Florida. Provides nice CLEAR protection for plates. BUT: A bit fragile. A rock falling from a dump truck while driving on the track caused a clean collapse of the front and hit a trim strip installed there. The bubble shape means the lid has less backing. Considering the cost, I chalked it up as a learning experience and ordered a flat cover for the front while keeping the bubble shape for the back. I don't have a vanity table. I bought this to protect my license plate and specifically the extra annual license plate sticker they use in Pennsylvania which is often stolen by cutting off the corner of the license plate [because if you don't maintain your car insurance you won't get a new sticker] .
