I replaced the cams on my tires as I was having trouble with loose skewers while driving. After installation I had no problems. They have a low profile and won't snag on other bike spokes when stowed.

I love the flat look of these skewers. I used to have my bike wheels stolen and now I find it easier to lock my bike in public. You just need to be careful to keep the hex wrench if you need to take it off frequently. Luckily I don't have to dismantle the wheels very often.

Great quality they look stylish and sexy. My last wheels were stolen when I left my bike overnight. To be honest you can easily remove them with a right size allen wrench but not with pliers. However, I will not leave my bike outside overnight to check them out.

Purchased to replace the eccentric on the front wheel of a cheap Schwinn bike. The goal is to make it impossible for someone to just walk up and remove the wheel without tools. It's not for repairing expensive wheels or anything like that. I was concerned that some reviews mentioned it popped when put on. If you don't have a torque wrench, you need to be careful not to over-tighten it. If you're concerned, use some type of low-strength threadlocker.

Those look better than the obvious quick release with built in tool. I mean, who wants to be the only one at the track with the obvious sign that they're still running some old-school quick-release hubs? It takes longer to remove them as you need an Allen key to do it. Took a little longer to put on than the original with the built in tool but they look smart.

They are quickly released with an ordinary hex key which a thief may or may not have. Security is better than a quick loan spindle but not as good as having your own key. The benefit for me is that I don't have to carry around a heavy proprietary key for maintenance. I already have this allen key in my travel kit for other mounts.
