The thing seems to be well made!

I usually hate reviews from people who just received an item. They're probably motivated to justify their purchase decision, right? I know I'm not immune to this myself, so I usually shy away from early reviews. But here are the good things I noticed: The hose is longer and more flexible than the previous one I had. This makes it much easier to use if you only have two hands. For example. I wanted to compare it to an accurate tire gauge I bought for track racing. (Luckily it was within 1/2 lb.)

Doesn't work properly with Presta valves

When used with a Presta valve the center pin pushes down on the pin and deflates the entire tire before you can add air - there are no instructions and I've been messing around with it myself I've been pretty sure I'm not doing anything wrong for quite some time. The whole point of the Presta valve is that it compresses the pin when the air pressure in the pump exceeds the pressure in the tire - this prevents air loss and the need to change the tube every time. I went through the return window…

Great product with excellent LifeShift support (seller)

I don't know what else you would expect from a tire pressure/gauge that connects to a compressor. Reading some of the questions (and answers) there seems to be some confusion about how to use this inflator. It only works when connected to the type of porter cable or DeWalt compressor you would normally use with a nail gun or paint sprayer. It features a 1/4" NPT quick connect, which should eliminate any confusion. The head connects to either a Schrader valve or a Presta valve. Simply place the…

Reliable tool, works well, worth the money.

If you have a compressor this is a handy tire inflation tool that works well with Presta and Schrader valves. I have tested the gauge with the analog and digital gauges I have and it is accurate. Comes with two Energizer AAA batteries - not the usual nameless batteries that don't last long. When it comes to bicycle tires, little technology is required. Car tires are easy, if you lose some air when you remove the tube, it has almost no effect on the pressure. For bike tires, especially high…
