Great design, terrible accuracy.

I like the design of this device. I think this is the best bike GPS you can find on the open market. The display is huge and I've never had any problems with glare. Unfortunately, this is a GPS bike computer and lacks accuracy. I went on a ride that I'm very familiar with and I know it's 25.6 miles, I ride it all the time. When I got back to where I started, the bike computer showed I had only covered 18.6 miles. That's a huge difference. I noticed that every time I drove through some forest…

Good product, misleading description

I was looking for a cycle computer for my new bike and after testing and comparing I decided on this one. One of the features I liked is the large display with big numbers (great for drivers over 40). Checking the description and pictures I thought the kit included a front bracket (one even shows an anti-theft screw, see attached pictures). It's also unclear what's in the box. This was one of the features I liked as the outdoor location makes reading more enjoyable. Unfortunately it's not…

Pros
  • Chic design
Cons
  • Low repairability

I like the big display and the way the user interface works. However, there are some issues that you should be aware of. The thermometer is useless if the device is exposed to direct sunlight. I knew it was about 80F, he reported 107F. When connected to my Garmin HRM chest strap, this computer reported an odd heart rate. I cycled the computer several times until it started reporting reasonable numbers, after which it worked perfectly. As for GPS speed/distance, it seems to be more accurate at…

Don't waste time

I've been looking for a good bike computer for a long time. I need something 1. Wireless 2. Connects to ant+ 3. Syncs to Strava 4. Easy to read I ordered a Garmin Edge 530 last week and returned it after my first long ride because it doesn't connect to mine all the time sensors, wahoo . This made my ride uncomfortable and I eventually switched off and drove on. I ordered Cyclplus G+ after reading positive reviews. Unfortunately I can not join the club of positive reviews. First of all, the…

Really good at some features, disappointing at others

What this bike computer does well, it does very well: The screen is large and easy to read, even for those of us who have presbyopia (need reading glasses). - Battery life is good and should last a couple of weeks on a single charge. - I've had no trouble connecting to satellites in under a minute and haven't lost them yet. - It's as accurate as possible. As a distance as shown in the picture, it's within about 1/2 percent of my wired computer after a 40 mile ride. This means that a wheel hub…

Great computer at a great price

There are so many things to love about this bike computer: Big screen where you can see most of the information at once ANT+ compatible Speed , cadence, heart rate sensors and power supply (this was important to me as I would be stationary training my bike in the winter) Easy to install and use Battery life seems great based on the amount of time I've been using it Compatibility with easily accessible 1/4 swivel mounts (Garmin style) Price However, there are a few small things I would change if

Reasonably priced but packed with features

I was looking for a reasonably priced bike computer that could record power meter readings. The CYCPLUS M1 is incredibly cheap, but well made with all functions. I have a Garmin Edge 1030 (used on my exercise bike) and a XOOM G+ (used on my commuter bike). The M1 is a big upgrade from the XOOM G+ and I like its large backlit screen which is easy to see even in direct sunlight. Its high-resolution 2.9-inch screen has even more pixels per inch than the Garmin 1030's 3.5-inch color LCD, allowing…

Excellent purchase. worth your money.

The screen is much easier to read than the Wahoo Element Bolt I owned and records and downloads much of the same information. It's less than 1/3 the price. You have to remember to press the left pause button every time you stop, and uploading results to Strava requires more effort, but for the price, this device is a winner. The setup instructions were minimal, but after a few false starts I was able to figure it out. One thing to note; The instructions say to enter the wheel's diameter, but…

Great little computer, perfect for my use!

Last year I started recording my rides on Strava using a smartphone holder. I thought why buy a smart computer when I already have something powerful? The downsides quickly became apparent - 50 miles on the road with GPS and my phone was down to 15-20% battery. If I drive longer, I run the risk of being stranded somewhere without a phone because of a breakdown. Then I got a fairly minor spill, although nothing was damaged, my phone could easily have been. That's when I stumbled upon this…

Cheap, ant+, sync with Strava, long battery life and big screen

Bought a kit: computer, cadence sensor and mounting kit Rode it 200km. It exceeded my expectations with some issues that may be improved in the future in the device firmware or in the XOSS app. Pros: - affordable (compared to more expensive devices) - all my ant+ devices connected with no issues: Cannondale wheel sensor (speed, rebranded Garmin speed sensor), smart wristband Garmin Vivosmart HR heart rate sensor, CYCPLUS cadence sensor - long battery life on all Ant+ and GPS devices are…
