Cyfie Kickstand Adjustable Kickstands 16 20Inch Review

This footboard was easy to install and moved up/down very easily when kicked. However, in the first week, the bottom plastic leg fell off TWICE. The second time it happened without us noticing so my daughter now has a partially broken brand new running board.

This stand fits my granddaughter's 16" bike frame snugly, but is too long for a 16" bike. Out of the box, the mounted footrest holds the bike upright and falls to the opposite side. It can be modified to work, but unless you have a saw to shorten the setting it will be unsatisfactory. Should work well with a 20" bike.

Didn't have time to return it, it was supposed to be on the bike for her birthday. I just installed it and it looked great. But it almost touches the spokes, and the attachment point had to be modified to move the stand away from the spokes. Then the slide adjustment failed on the first day and had to be replaced by more powerful devices. Now it looks and works fine. It was a problem.

I bought this for my child on a 16" bike and it doesn't fit properly. When the adjustable part is retracted to the maximum it still makes the height too straight and it tips over. I removed the adjustable piece and it works a bit, although there is no rubber piece to avoid scratching the metal. Installation was very easy, I can see it works well on 18-20 inch wheels. 2 stars as advertised for 16" bikes.

My son's dream is to add a kickstand to his bike. I tried two other products that just didn't last. Not because they were skinny, but because their placement on the bike was on the rear wheel. Over time, they move and only become annoying. This footboard goes where it belongs, in the middle! I mounted it on a 20 inch boys bike. Footrest doesn't lay flat on the ground. The "leg" is bent and only one corner of the "foot" touches the ground. It technically works because the bike is upright, but it's nowhere near as stable as it should be. Maybe mine is broken? I would like to try again if the seller wants to send me another one. This product is not suitable for 16" bikes at all. It's too long, even on the lowest setting my daughter's bike flipped over in the opposite direction. I contacted the seller and they actually called me an idiot and told me to check the size of the bike and make sure it's fitted correctly. We have 5 bikes for 4 people. I couldn't get the footrest short enough for a 16" bike. So I cut off a small part of the adjustable part (see photo) and was able to make it as short as possible. Once installed it "worked" but held the bike almost upright rather than tilting slightly like a kickstand should. Afraid that the bike might fall over if my child tried to use the footrest, I tried the next sensible option: flexing the footrest. Well it was awful as it broke in half.
