Installed in about an hour, most of which was spent running wires and soldering the end connections (I don't like butt joints). Everything went smoothly with the parts provided and worked great when plugged in, much brighter than the previous install and the beautifully stamped license plate bracket is a great bonus!

Installation was simple and easy but 3 months after installation the lights stopped working. I have found that the copper wire running through the wiring harness has completely turned to white powder, not allowing the insulation to be stripped to patch it in a short repair area. I had to remove and replace the entire wiring harness and a set of LED lights! Very bad quality!

I had to return them. On arrival, the right rear brake light assembly was packed in a plastic bag and sealed with tape, the rest of the lights were sealed in bags. One of the two fastening screws had torn out of the body. When assembling my homemade RV, I applied a strip of silicone with a bolt, washer, and nut. It worked almost fine. I soldered all the connections and used shrink tape. The cables are a bit short.

Don't buy a lighting kit unless it has copper wiring standing. Lamps are useless if the wire that powers them is broken. I put these kits on two different trailers a year apart. I just hooked up a trailer that had the kit installed 2 years ago and the lights weren't working. I was trying to fix a broken connection and found that the aluminum wire was at least 20 inches from the end. I'm assuming the second set will be out soon.

This trailer kit was installed for my 17ft bass tracker. The wires are color coded making it easy to connect correctly the first time. The cables were just the right length, not too short, but there was no extra cable either. I didn't use snap wire connectors because I used regular butt connectors (red). Wanted to love her and really liked her before she broke after only 4 trips to the lake. The seals around the side marker and main rear glass appear to be in great condition, but you can see that the LEDs' electrical connections are not protected from corrosion, they were just exposed to the moisture in the air and rusted in just a couple of months .
