. The situation is very simple. When my modem is plugged directly into my laptop it works almost 100% of the time. When I connect it to the KR1 router it freezes every few minutes. In this case there is neither a connection nor an IP address on the "Status" page. This hang up happens until I unplug my router, or sometimes after 5-10 minutes, it clears up. A few months ago I installed a KR1 (Dlink ODM) at a camp in downtown Missouri. You are using the Sprint S720 EVDO Rev. A card as a wireless network adapter. Overall, the KR1 performs well. The only major issue the camp has had is signal strength now that the trees are overgrown - which is to be expected given there are no towers anywhere on the horizon.
