These switches are high quality and should last a long time. I installed one of them as a light switch under the hood. Works like a champ.

Connected the ground wire from my LED strip to this. Installation was easy, I had to trim the cup a bit and it cut perfectly. Good price!

I used this to add a camper roof post switch but there are a million things you could use it for. Simple design, should be trouble free for a long time. The rubber cap is just for a clean look, it doesn't look waterproof.

Based on other reviews I decided to try these over other options on the market. The screw hole just fitted (barely) but no further hole needs to be drilled which I did for another door when this switch broke and bought another version from Revain. I trimmed the butt down to the last line and it works as expected. Will be updated if quality/reliability issues arise in the future

My son's Jeep has light switches but they were removed when we bought them.
