This camera has a smaller field of view than the OEM camera. It does what it says on the tin but if I had to rebuild I would spend the money and buy an OEM camera and still could.

No instructions. I watched a few youtubes. On my 2012 F-150 my clips broke when I ripped off the emblem. It is not designed to be removed and reattached. Both videos said it would happen. I got mine back with some crazy glue dots. I think it will hold up well and I never expect to have to remove it again. I noticed because I removed the old camera and installing the new one was a breeze. The picture quality is as good as the original. I lost no grid lines and no distortion.

Everything fits, it should, and if you're patient enough, you can remove the Ford badge from the tailgate without breaking it. The problem with the camera is that it has a smaller field of view than the OEM and the lines on the camera are not centered. I put an envelope over my hitch so you can see how wide it is. Faulty 2013 F150OEM camera: CL3T-19G490-AD Seller recommended replacement: EL3Z-19G490-D Installed the camera with no problems. I have a screen in my rearview mirror. The picture is excellent. Works as it should. The camera is a maximum of 2 inches off center but I believe the dealer can adjust that if needed. I haven't tried the zoom function yet to see if it works. Will try to update this in a few months.

Arrived on time, was incredibly easy to install, took less than five minutes. You will need a new blue oval and OEM replacement base plate, the original OEM is not serviceable and will need these parts for a better fit. It's been 6 years with intermittent camera issues with the original, never had super clarity. This setup is MUCH clearer and works every time you put reverse gear instead of half the time or less.

Camera quality is good, not better than OEM, but I didn't expect this for the price compared to OEM. As others have said the fuse lines are not quite centered, they are slightly offset. The camera doesn't have as wide a field of view as the OEM, but it's good enough. Surprisingly, my zoom function still works! Bought for a 2012 Raptor as the old rear camera kept dropping out and showing a black screen/error message. That's now fixed with this half OEM price camera! Flashing is not required…
