Dayco 5070763 Serpentine Belt Review

I was able to replace it myself along with the alternator. To access the hydraulic tensioner, you will need a 19mm socket for a ratchet wrench or houndstooth wrench less than 3 inches apart. First I had to put the head on the tensioner head and then turn the wrench to make it fit. You will also need a good shop light and a long screwdriver or hard stick/rod to get the belt onto some of the lower pulleys.

I checked it after a month of use. It's a little tricky installing a new belt on my 20 year old car. I rated all 5 stars as no issues after installing and using for a month. Looks like longevity. My original Toyota belt has traveled 120,000 km.

This belt seems to be of excellent quality for the price. It is however listed as suitable for a 2005 Rav4 but will NOT fit! We had three people trying to put it on and it's not long enough to fit in a stock Rav4 '05. Went to the auto parts store to buy another brand and it did the trick. I will return this one.
