Dayco makes the best hoses and belts

Longer than Forester Factory 2001 hose (hence 4 stars). I had to cut. Be careful of the curve when cutting, otherwise you will cut it too short. Dayco makes the best hoses and belts.

Pros
  • 13.5 inch length
Cons
  • Operating speed

Early generations need trimming

Was too long, shape doesn't fit 1998 Forester L. I had to trim! Maybe about 1.5/2 inch and there's still a little crease left. Not enough to restrict the flow and eventually the heat will help it form later in the future. There would be five stars if he specified the exact installation. Still usable for the price

Pros
  • Reinforced with knitted viscose for maximum strength and tear resistance
Cons
  • Clarity

Absolutely not the right hose for my Forrester.

This hose will not fit a 2008 Forrester Turbo at all. I entered my car, model, year and everything else and the item should match. Hose bends in the wrong place, not even close! I didn't find this problem until I removed the old one. It's Christmas and all the local parts shops are closed, the car is on jack stands, the coolant is drained. Do I now have to call the local shop and run a few miles with the old one in hand to compare?

Pros
  • Rugged construction withstands road debris, coolant, salt and temperature changes
Cons
  • There are drawbacks
