Powered by Subaru Legacy Outback 3.0 6 cyl.

My Subaru Legacy Outback 3.0 6 cyl. Car fits perfectly! It's been running fine for about a week now with a new belt and this Dayco 89148 idler pulley.

Non-OEM style for Sentra 2002-06

Firstly it is not like the picture and it says it is for 2002 Nissan Sentra but it is not. The original has a dust cover that fits into the pulley and when you use it with this pulley it doesn't spin. I had to find a separate washer to get this pulley to fit properly and not use the dust cover. But it works, so it doesn't matter

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Small things

Bigger than my OEM part but works, quiet and beautiful.

This pulley is larger than the OEM part on my 2007 Honda Fit that it claims to be compatible with. It will fit, but you need a washer or two between the bearing and the dust cover, otherwise the dust cover will rub against the pulley, which is bad. I believe this is a #8 bolt, so a #8 or 1/4" washer will do (or two, I had a thicker washer).

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Everything seems ok so far in the timing part

Installed 2 in our 2003 Subaru Outback 3.0 H6. One for the tensioner and one for the tensioner. They are made of metal, not resin or plastic, and are black in color, although they appear silver. I haven't measured with a caliper, but they appear to be 1 or 2mm larger in diameter than the stock pulley. They are also missing the hem/comb on the back of the pulley like the stockings. They were installed along with the new Bando sickle. Belt. The tracking is fine so far. The packaging says Made in…

Not as wide as the original pulley. No original bearing. thinner metal.

Installed on Nissan Altima SL 2.5 2008 MY. This pulley is not as wide as the original part and so the timing belt rides on the very edge of the pulley which is a bit intimidating. The bearing is made in China, I have never heard of such a brand. The original bearing is NSK 6203. Also, the metal used is not as thick as the original Nissan pulley. Hope this disc lasts. If not I just buy a brand new bearing and put it on the original pulley I kept. You should have done that first. You can buy a…
