Easy to install and works great. As another reviewer said, they worked great for my toolbox challenger. They fit perfectly.

At first I thought something was wrong because they don't compress. Read first to install. Did it, works great. Toolbox shock absorbers replaced.

I bought these for a Delta truck aluminum tool box. Now the lid opens when I pull the handle. In any case, they are on the strong side.

When I look around and try to find these bumpers for my tool box lid, some stores charge over $50 for them, but here I can find them for less than $20. And they are exactly what I needed. Highly recommend them for the lid of your full-size tool box. Not too strong and not too weak. Not sure how long they will last as longevity is an issue but for this price you can replace them once a year and I don't know about you but I would be happy.

They are perfect for 24 year old Challenger brand pickup tool box. -O-Mat spacer and works like a charm. As I've seen in some other reviews of similar racks, they are more than strong enough to deftly pop the lid open. There was also a 60lb version which would probably be overkill for my application. If you have a large and heavy lid, consider these. Given that they are fixed in the center of the lid and the mechanical advantage the lid has over them, even with an estimated 100lb load. combined
