Fits great, almost. best dampers, struts and suspension

Good quality but front brackets are not slotted to fit my pre 6/2001 Sporttrac frame. But don't think that this caused a problem, so the installation went without any problems.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

Better than OEM

Worked well on a 2001 Sporttrac 4x4, took 8 hours to install, should have come with screws and hardware but didn't. And he has to say whether it's a body lift or not, in this case it wasn't, which was good for me. Make sure you use Loctite.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Lots

Check body mounts!

I recently bought a 2001 Ford Sport Trac, all 4 medium sized ones were missing the rubber part of the body mounts. It turned out that replacing them was not so difficult. Significant improvement in ride quality and noise reduction. They seem to last a lot longer than the stock ones.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Negative impression

Worth replacing rotten parts

My truck's brackets are completely gone. I did a torsion lift and braces and 32s. My front tires are also heavily worn in this case. The body sagged heavily. I didn't know how bad it was until I did the body mounts. I'm very happy that I have now. He raised the truck about 2 inches and fixed many issues.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Quality parts with great instructions and fit.

Quality parts with detailed instructions. All details fit perfectly. Red Loctite is included. Worked with a jack and a jack. I recommend an impact wrench to loosen the bolts as they are assembled with lots of blue Loctite. I pierced all the threads with a die to make assembly easier, but it's not necessary. Tools Used: Jack, jack, metric and standard sockets, metric and standard wrenches, large screwdriver for removing old fasteners, bolt release spray, LARGE pliers for removing old sockets…

Pros
  • Ensures proper body and frame alignment
Cons
  • Small parts

A big leap forward compared to factory mounts.

The bad first. Better pack some lunches, that's the main job. It is better to remove the front seats before takeoff. The factory Loctite makes the mounting screws extremely difficult to remove (this is where lunch comes in.) Good. The factory brackets for the A and B pillars are foam. Pure garbage. Ride quality when new seemed to be the primary concern. They rot and hit the frame with their bodies. Creaking, jerking and shifting of the body are symptoms. Polymer body mounts are the cure; fit…

  • Increases performance and manageability

Easy work for a shade tree mechanic

2003 Sporttrac with badly worn bushings. You need this kit. Jack. A piece of wood or a large 6 foot piece of wood. Head 15mm. Deep head 18mm and extension. The lock works on one side at a time. Peel back carpet to reveal rubber hole plugs and remove to reveal screw head. Now I heated the bolt under the truck for about 1 minute and then tried to remove the bolt. It worked fine for me, my nuts and bolts weren't rusty or corroded. This bolt is about 6 inches long, so it will take some time to…

Pros
  • Outperforms stock rubber mounts
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
