Starter works and fits perfectly for 2001 maxima se 3.0. The only problem I have is where you connect the positive pole to the magnet. The housing cracked when tightening the nut. I would blame the starter as that part is plastic but my last starter also broke in the same spot so too much tension is the problem. Regardless, the starter itself works great.
