2007 FORD ESCAPE 3.0L V6 XLT 4WD

. Jack it up a bit just under the oil pan, start the car, hold the brake and go into D and then into R, when the vibration is gone, there you go, that's the motor mount on the passenger side. This part is the right part for you and 100% OEM replacement. I've been in the automotive industry for a long time and this part does the job

Pros
  • Slim Design

2010 Ford Escape Passenger Engine Mount

Cost is high compared to Autozone and other brick and mortar stores BUT I am disappointed. This bracket did not fit properly on all 3 screw positions. Two of the three fit perfectly, but no matter how it was adjusted, it didn't fit all three the way the OEM did. I was able to tighten the third screw with a pry bar, but it still didn't go all the way in. It's safe for now (don't know if it will last long) and it eliminated most of the vibration, but I'm not sure it will last.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Doubt it

Works on a 2008 Ford Escape V6

Revain incorrectly says this will not fit my wife's 2008 Ford Escape Limited but a check on the DEA website shows it is correct. Your car made a strange groaning/creaking sound every time it accelerated. I searched the whole internet before I found a suggestion to replace an engine mount filled with passenger fluid. Couldn't visually see anything wrong with their existing motor mount but went with it anyway. Turned out to be the culprit. Replaced and the noise was gone. Can't say much about…

Pros
  • Much good vibes
Cons
  • Low repairability

2006 Ford Escape 3.0 4WD

The Escape had significant vibration/rattle when stopped while driving while idling. I'm not sure if the motor mount is the culprit. I tried to check by lifting the engine up a bit (jack with a block of wood on the oil pan) and the brackets didn't come loose. This mount is prone to failure, and when it does, it may come loose during testing. There was no division. However, I dared. Went like clockwork. Removing the old bracket was pretty easy. Just a few screws with a jack underneath to keep…

  • Rugged Construction

Suspicious Quality Control

I installed this on my 2009 Ford Escape V6 XLT which is exhibiting excessive cabin vibration at idle. It was a very simple setup. You support the engine from below with a jack, and then remove and install the bracket from above. I replaced all four engine and transmission mounts during installation. Vibrations in the cab were minimal after installing the DEA mount but returned to baseline after about 4 months?!? The OEM mount lasted 11 years. This product comes with a 6-month warranty, half…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Mystery

Now my 07 Escape is smoother. Here are my tips!

This saved the life of my 2007 Ford Escape xlt 4wd. It worked and idle very hard. My mechanic said to change those engine mounts first as they are often the culprit. This was half the price of what I found at local stores. Sometimes it was difficult to change it, but for an inexperienced home mechanic it was possible. Be sure to clean everything around the existing mount before attempting to remove it or install a new one. This includes a plastic tank for the radiator. Have deep sockets handy…

Pros
  • One year trial

6 month update: Mount failed

This hydraulic motor mount worked great on my 2011 Ford Escape 3.0L V6. Easy to install and instantly eliminated the annoying steering vibrations that came from the engine idling. The OEM mount went from hydraulic to "hard" when the fluid ran out (110,000 miles). Very typical of "softer" OEM mounts, regardless of car company. A quick fix to an annoying problem. And an easy DIY project that takes about an hour. There are many videos on YouTube showing how to replace the bracket, but it's pretty…
