This is a better option than purchasing multiple 3/8" countersinks and star drill bits. However, it has some disadvantages. It has a lot of play which can lead to sloppy sinkholes if you don't have a steady hand. Second, with IPE, the sharpness of the drill and countersink wears off after 15-20 holes.
