Fantastic detail and color matching good. It seems important, but I wouldn't put it out there like a hammer. The only issue I had was with the screws, ours are silver but a bit of nail polish fixed that and the styrofoam it was in worked as a nice stand.

Mounting holes are smaller than fasteners. The mounting screws are bright cadmium chrome and don't look good unless you paint them. Also, I'd have to drill through this thing to use hardware that might ruin its finish. I regret this purchase.

I ended up buying another one because the first one was so cool. You'll want to hook it to your own hardware because the screws they send are junk. It's a nice accent in my bar. I rated it a 3 for strength because it's cast in resin and one was broken where the ring goes. DO NOT screw the hardware too tight, otherwise it may crack.

So much fun, I love this door knocker to add to our Halloween decorations! I installed with 3M tapes so we didn't have to drill the door. As long as it holds up! We used a piece of rope over the door and tied it to the hammer handle for the first 24 hours to make sure it held up well enough (the hammer feels like it's about to fall apart falling from that height). Our door is outward facing, no storm door and no canopy so let's see how it holds up to the weather (at least 1 month a year!).

I bought this to add some personality to my very boring beige front door to my apartment. It wasn't the easiest piece to install as the screw holes were located so even after making the template there was a little difficulty but not much. The door knocker is very strong and has some weight, so I used dowels. Speaking of screws, that would be my only criticism of the product. The screws are a really bright silver color that stands out against the copper black and shabby color of the door…
