Works great, durable.

I bought it specifically for my car as the terminal strips are recessed in the side skirts. I brought them to work in my workshop and they fit in every car. I've had them for a long time and they've been worn but still very usable. If you're a professional mechanic, there's no excuse for wrinkling or bending someone's aprons or handrails. Especially considering their cheapness.

Perfect amazing product. Does exactly what you want!

I wish I had had these kids 30 years ago but at least I should and now I won't be crunching the side jack tips anymore. They do exactly what they were designed to do and they keep your Jack Points as straight as if they were new. An inexpensive tool that does a lot for so little. Everyone should have 1 of these in the trunk next to the jack.

  • Delivery was very quick

Pac-Man Crash - Use at your own risk.

This product seemed like a great idea but didn't work the first time I used it. As many other reviewers have pointed out, the rubber washer split in two when I tried to jack up my car. I was lucky and it only damaged the weld under the car, other people weren't so lucky and damaged the doors/upholstery when the car slid off those brackets. This inexpensive item can deal 100 damage if it fails, and you've got a giant Pac Man paperweight.

Avoid damage to the lifting point of the one-piece jack

Ideal for use between medium-sized jacks and solid cars. Benefits: Maximum contact and stability between jack and vehicle Prevents damage to solid vehicle jacking points Durable, medium weight, vinyl-like material retains/recovers after use. Inexpensive. Cons: Very strong oil/plastic odor. Larger pads can be used with smaller jacks, but that's probably not the best option.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Many things

I'm not sure if it's safe

I could use it but I've never felt safe in it. They didn't halve with me. They didn't come off the jack like the guy with the Prius, either. See attached photos. would you trust it The goal is not to scratch (cause corrosion) the paint or bend the weld. If it slips, there are many more problems. I am not sure if I will use them again. I have attached photos showing these pads being used with two different connectors.

Pros
  • a practical thing
Cons
  • I won't say anything

A useful tool for a home mechanic

It seems to be a good quality product. Definitely worth it as I hate pulling out a useless factory scissor jack when fixing small unibody cars. I'm always concerned about damaging the flimsy one-piece body that these cars are often built from. I don't know why people complain about the smell. It's a tool that's likely to be kept in your garage until you need it, rather than in your kitchen sink. It smells like thick rubber, like a hockey puck. You'll save some money by being your own mechanicโ€ฆ

Like my chocks

It's rubber and damn they smell like that part! Take/leave the box outside and open it there. Like my wheel chocks, I suspect these washers will need to sit outside for a few months before they completely stop smelling in the room. They are made of HART rubber, just like the sport bushings. That's reassuring. They seem to do a good job of keeping pinched seams in shape. I'm considering drilling a hole or two in each pad to insert magnets so they can stick to the pressure welds across myโ€ฆ

Works, but I recommend using a fairly large socket.

They would work better if my small jack had a larger diameter jack plate. My junior guide. The jack only lifts 14 inches and has a small jack plate with ridges (up and down like in a castle wall). In other words, my plate was smaller in diameter than the black pavement, and those lugs really dug into the pavement where I jacked my car. I understand why some people say their pads crack or split in half. You really need to pay attention to how securely your upholstery is attached to your car. Iโ€ฆ
