Dee Zee DZ16221 Mounting Bracket Review

It arrived as described and was in good condition but was missing a few parts. I was impressed with the response from customer service but felt the compensation was a bit lacking. Installation took 1 hour and parts replacement took 3 weeks. Much luck.

The way Ford designed the frame made for an interesting arrangement of the rear bracket. Once I found that I had to remove and remove the nut a few times before attempting to install it, everything went smoothly. The total time for all four was about 45 minutes. It could have been a lot less if I had an air wrench. Works perfectly.

Good product. No missing parts. The instructions were perfect for my car (2013 Ford Explorer) and they even had REAL pictures not just drawings which was very helpful. The brackets appear to be very strong. Caution: During installation, small brackets are placed in the holes that are already on the underside of your car. If you're not careful, these brackets will disappear into these holes and be lost forever! We let one of ours escape, but luckily we had a magnet to pull it back. Just be very…
