🔧 Enhanced Fuel Pump Module: Delphi FG0376 Review

There was no adapter in the kit, I wasted a day, now the truck is blocking the passage because I don't know how much. Too bad the packaging wasn't checked.

This pump fits my 2001 GMC Sonoma 2.2L. Good replacement for the stock pump. I had to buy a new snap ring from a local parts store. A new wiring harness adapter was included to fit the factory wiring harness.

Although NEARLY complete, this part is missing the clips that hold and lock the fuel lines! Now I have to try and remove the old ones from the old pump assembly and REUSE them on the NEW pump assembly! While I'm glad it's an original part, the fact that I'll have to re-use old clamps worries me because the machine should be working TONIGHT!

I thought I got a lot for the money but after my mechanic installed a new pump it didn't work. When he removed the fuel tank a second time, he found the wires were reversed and the pump motor was spinning backwards. It cost me an additional $200 and it took away my joy. Maybe I got it one in a million but it still sucks.

My stock fuel pump died suddenly a year ago so I took this one to replace. Installation is easy. The S10 lets you remove the bed instead of dropping the tank if you have extra hands. Just make sure you reconnect all the ground wires before testing it or you'll be scratching your head like me for a while. After replacing the storage pump there were no problems.

The thing fits perfectly. My son came over and helped me get the bed off my truck. It was easy to install, but didn't work at first. My son found a bad floor and fixed it so it works fine now. The check engine light went out by itself for the first time in over 5 years! I know there was a vacuum leak here. As soon as we find bad ground, my little truck runs like new again.

This Delphi pump was perfect for my 2003 Chevy S10 2.2 4 cylinder. I removed the bed (easier than removing the tank), took out the old pump, screwed in the new one and reconnected the hoses.
