Just do it. Great Delphi fuel pump.

This was a purchase for my 2005 GMC Envoy after reading great reviews. I decided to swap it out early when I heard a howl and whirring nose from the gas tank near my rear wheels. Since my Envoy was 10 years old and had 100,000 miles on it, I figured it would be prudent to remove and replace the original fuel pump before it failed. My mechanic did an R&R (remove and replace). Won't hold fuel pressure

I first bought this fuel pump almost 2 years ago to fix a fuel gauge problem that was causing my fuel gauge to go constantly blank. The fuel gauge works great on this pump, but there is an issue with the regulator on this module that doesn't last long. After about a month of excellent work, he began to lose the pressure. I even heard pressure coming out of the regulator and I checked the fuel line with a gauge and it first jumped to 60psi and then quickly dropped to 5psi or less. Once started…

Doesn't hold charge, no support from Delphi or Revain

Update: 2019-08-16: Still no support from Revain or Delphi. The fuel level sender in my replacement unit has failed and my truck is not losing emissions (fluctuating fuel level triggers the SES light). I will now be replacing the entire assembly with an aftermarket unit from a local parts store.
