Original equipment manufacturer at a top price.

OEM fuel pump at the cheapest price in auto parts store. Works fine, but to install PITA! Be careful not to lose the metal piston in the cylinder block.

Works like a champ!

As a professional mechanic I have installed many Delphi fuel pumps and this is one of the best pumps on the market. For this pump in particular I would like them to include rear seals for the large banjo bolt. However, they are not that expensive from Ford. That's why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Perfect Replacement for 7.3L Powerstroke Engine

Decent Quality. I had to clean the ports of casting/processing residue. Installation was easy and the truck started up after about 6 starts with no problems. Driven 1000 km so far with no problems. I noticed that the diesel now starts on the first or second corner and not on the third or fourth. The old pump had a leak where the steel cover was pressed against the aluminum body. And most importantly, the cabin no longer smells of diesel. The fuel pump originally removed was a Carter, I was…

Failure after driving less than 10 km!

Complete crap! This pump failed almost immediately, dumping diesel fuel into my crankshaft while I was filling the oil pan. I was lucky that it didn't cause any more damage than replacing the dipstick gasket and draining the oil and filter, in addition to the hassle of replacing that faulty pump, this time with a Napa crankcase pump. That cheap pump everyone has been talking about cost me another $300 (2 pumps, oil and filter change, dipstick seal) and hopefully it hasn't hurt my truck again…
