It is half an inch longer than the cover and therefore curves at the bottom. I'm still trying to figure out a way to draw the bow.

Perfect for Brainerd Solid Brass Post Office Solid Brainerd Post Office. Fairly lightweight stainless steel but once glued into my insulated garage door it should work perfectly. I'm very satisfied with this product.

I have a sectional garage door with styrofoam insulation and a mail slot. The doors are about 1/4 inch thicker than this bushing so some of the foam is still visible. It would be great if this hub was made out of two pieces that "telescoped" together. Then you could insert it on either side of the opening and have a full metal finish with different door thicknesses. Love the quality and it's a lot better than seeing a lot of raw foam with no core, but it could have been better in my opinion.
