Works perfectly: sturdy internals and hardware

Comfortable and supports my back. All of its settings didn't match my mower so I had to make adjustments but this is a really old mower.

The nuts under the seat have come loose Danger!

I tightened the seat and the two anchor nuts I had screwed into loosened and would not tighten while I was still rotating, so I had to modify it, which cost me another $150 in work ! Quality from China cheap! But the seat is comfortable.

Check the package!

If your lawn mower has a forward tilting seat with a steel pivot through the bottom of the seat, don't buy it! We made it after making two brackets for the underside of the seat. If you're good with tools and have nooks and crannies, go for it. Otherwise, order the one you need from John Deere!

Correct product description/poor return policy

I bought this seat because it was described as fitting 'most' models of lawn tractors. I have a Cub Cadet lawn tractor and it won't fit. Now you want me to pay $60 to return a $75 item and your product description was inaccurate. This is bad business, plain and simple! Attention buyers! You are not dealing with Revane!

"UNIVERSAL " is the wrong name!

This seat was described as 'universal' so my husband ordered this to replace a worn seat on his lawnmower. screw holes) so he was confident he could adapt it to his mower. When he arrived he was happy with the quality of the seat, but none of the attachment schemes worked and there was no way to adjust it to his mower. We ended up having to return it and were shocked that the return cost was almost half the cost of the seat due to the size and weight of the item. Lesson learned! My advice to…
