Cool weapon, but DO NOT try to open it!

The package arrived and the gun was bigger and heavier than I thought. It's a pretty good replica and looks and feels like the original, if I do say so myself. Hammer and trigger feel very solid and have good play. The barrel wobbles slightly, but this is due to the fact that it is attached to the rest of the gun along with the cylinders with a small hole and pin in the middle of the frame. Inexpensive - not a toy

I bought this gun as a wall display for my office and for that purpose this gun looks and works well (and it's a lot cheaper and safer than buying a working Italian black powder copy, which is available if you're genuinely interested). This is not a toy - it is made to be held in an adult's hand and has no markings which could immediately suggest to your neighbors or local law enforcement that this is not genuine. Good for the price. Do not expect too much.

I was a bit surprised by the packaging. The weapon is made from over 5 pounds of metal but housed in a thin Denix box. It came out of the inner box during shipping so I opened the outer box and saw that the gun was half hanging out of the Denix box. The weapon looks good but is missing a few small details. For example, the hammer doesn't have the rear sight groove that the originals had. So this is a replica with no scopes of work as such. Also, the gun had some grease on the hinges. This is…
