Denso 210 0766 Remanufactured Alternator Review

Alternator arrived on time and as described. I was able to install with no problems with the item. I can only recommend it as a direct replacement part.

This is the original alternator in my 2012 odyssey. It is exactly the same as the one I received and works great for half the price that parts stores charge for regular parts. What else would you like to ask?

For 2013 Honda Pilot. A limitation. Measure the width of the sleeve that the bolt goes through to attach the generator to the bottom bracket. My repair was 0.5mm thicker. I had to take it off to fit the generator in the bottom bracket. Other than that, it was an easy install.

Bottom sleeve length too long to fit bottom bracket shell. I had to pull the generator back and file the width down to the original width of the generator bushing. Check this before attempting to install because putting it back in and then taking it out again to archive is a pain. Otherwise everything was fine.

Nothing to say except that it worked and everything has been going well so far, a few months of waiting would be like some OEM died with the car or get at least 100k+ miles. As it will be almost impossible to remember coming back here I would say they lived up to expectations that it works was skeptical but I am very happy with the purchase.

So far, so good. This is a refurbished generator. It was durable and looked like the original. A clasp was broken upon delivery. All I had to do was remove a few screws from the original and replace with a new one. It arrived quickly and shipped quickly with the help of YouTube. YouTube + baseless courage = modern all-rounder.

This refurbished generator looked perfect, was easy to install and worked as expected. The only problem was that the bottom "wing" that slides between the split bracket at the bottom was too wide. I couldn't get it to slide despite my best efforts. But the metal file on the sleeve adjusted it to size, and it fit like a glove! I chose Denso because I felt I could trust this brand to produce a quality remanufactured part. The time will show.
