💡 Remanufactured Alternator (2100434) Review

Looks well restored. Clean, nice finish, smooth bearings. The mounting flange (main pivot point) was about 0.2mm wider than on my engine (2004 Tacoma 3.4 V6 5VZFE), fixed in minutes with a file. Fast ship!

Nicely reconditioned Denso alternator. The refurbished company is certified by Denso to get the job done and they did a great job. I recently replaced my alternator with a cheap brand. It only lasted 2 years. So I hope this one lasts longer. I think it will.

Didn't fit right! I had to file the top edges to fit. It's the correct product number and it's an OEM, it's just that the manufacturers don't care enough about getting the measurements right. After installation, everything is fine and the product works perfectly.

Purchased 23rd December 2017. Retired today 04/06/2018. Maybe 5,000 miles on it. Good luck contacting DENSO for warranty as I haven't received a call back yet. Very disappointing. Revain also doesn't offer a guarantee because it's too outdated. Tested at an auto parts store. The alternator has failed but the battery has still been tested well.

Pretty easy installation in the Toyota 4Runner 5vz (don't forget to remove the battery for easy installation) but….1. As others have said, the through hole for the top screw needs to be ground to fit snugly so it doesn't protrude further than the case.2. After some time of operation, the bearing starts to make noise. Not sure if it will last long.

I have read several posts complaining about the fit. There is nothing wrong with mounting this generator in a bracket. The bracket has a bushing that naturally slides inward as the screw is tightened. This bushing must be pushed out again before installing the alternator, otherwise you will have to file the housing to fit. A small C-clamp and socket can be used for this.
