πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» - Replacement Parts

On the left is a 3/8 collar 50psi hose. inches, and on the right is this hose, you can see the difference. Derale hose bursts at 300 psi and 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Installed on my 2002 Acura RSX transcooler. Good hose for the oil cooler, definitely recommended.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Socket Required

Great transmission hose!

Needed to replace the radiator on my Integra 98- Ordered this to replace the wrong size hose I had previously ordered. I didn't want to use the fuel line. This tough, thick hose pack claims 300 psi bursts, and the automatic transmission doesn't put that much pressure on it. only con is difficult to cut.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Very expensive

High quality hose, perfect for transcoolers!

Very high-quality hose, thick-walled! I used it to install a transmission cooler on my '09 Pontiac G8 with a 6L80E engine. I recommend using 11/16 spring clamps instead of worm drive clamps, they are perfect for this hose. I used The Hillman Group 59737 clamps from Revain.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Few little things

Danger! The tube will dissolve over time.

Used on an auxiliary transmission cooler installed in 2015. Found yesterday (2021) that the hose was becoming very cracked and brittle and leaked all of my gear oil into the garage. Good thing I wasn't out or it could have started a fire (gear oil is highly flammable). Do not buy. Choose an OEM branded or Continental hose instead.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Quality

DERALE HOSE: HIGH QUALITY

The hose worked as advertised. I have used it with power steering coolant hoses. For those who have a circa 2000 Ford SD pickup. Pay money and buy a long hose reel (3/8" x 25 feet). The hose is stiff enough that you can shape it into a hose cooler for the power store instead of buying a hose with a special metal tube that costs a lot costs more.It does not replace the power steering high pressure hose as there are metal pressure fittings on both ends.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • volume

CUT 5 FEET TO 4 INCHES? WHY?!

This looks like a really good quality hose. I haven't installed it yet. I have just received it. Buy 5', that's FIVE "FEET"! From this hose, I measured it right out of the box, and is it 56 INCHES long? The last time I measured FIVE FEET it was 60 inches, which is "sixty inches"! It just so happens that 4 inches, which isn't here, will work in my situation because I'm using the built-in magnetic filter for its transistor. This seller keeps selling 4" SHORT hoses and in no time he's collecting…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Expensive

Worst gear hose

I bought an extra thermal bypass transfer hose that I bought in Derala. Have operated 3 lines with Derale hose. For the remaining 3 lines I used the hose that came with the Tru-Cool Transmission External Cooler. The two lines I ran with a ruptured derale hose splattered gear oil everywhere during the first 5 miles of the test ride. Replaced 2 slot lines with another manufacturer's hose and did another 5 mile test ride. Everything checked out fine. So I drove about 10 miles to a car wash to wash

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Problems
