Neat hose. good for hoses

The only complaint I've received about the hose is two years ago. Otherwise, it is soft, does not prevent memory from twisting.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Negative impression

Durable hose, easy to route and operate with

Used for transmission coolant and power steering lines, good bend with no kinks, good resistance to heat and abrasion. Universal high pressure hose

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Expensive

Black hose vs clear hose.

Tubing material should preferably be transparent so you can see the oil flowing through when the engine is running. How else do you know it works?

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Good quality. Good price!

It contains all my oil in my van. One tip: Use some kind of lube to put it on every plug or hose fitting you have. It doesn't stretch like a regular hose. It's tight!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Nothing

quality hose. Need more HPSE specs.

This is a good quality hose. The batch I received was made by Continental, a quality company. Have used this for several oil filter relocation projects so far. The only thing holding back the fifth star is the lack of hose specs. The packaging says 300 psi burst pressure but no working pressure. Don't remember if the operating temperature was listed. It would be nice if they were made available. I understand that the exact dates may change with supplier changes as Derale repackages this hose…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Poorly designed
