Fits very well with my GM T47 Torx screws.

I just received this tool and started using it immediately. It fitted my Torx GM T47 screws very well and I had no problem removing them. There was also no damage to the internal sprockets in the bolt heads.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • No reminder

Excellent quality Dewalt

I used this hammer to undo the seat bolts in my Ford F150. It worked, but the torx 50 was a snug fit. Less chance of tearing off a bolt. However, the quality of this beat is excellent. The price is great. The cheapest I've found

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Used to pull out GM car seat

Neighbor's 2002 Bonneville had door and window locks that didn't work. With the help of this attachment I removed the front driver and passenger seat. I lifted the mats and found the car was flooded with water. Poor manhole seal and drains. Wiring harness repaired and able to assemble. Very happy with the racket and the fast delivery. The car should have been thrown off a cliff long ago, but he likes it.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • not reliable

Absolutely Superior Strength and Durability

Bought for a specific braking task I ended up adjusting to 1/2 then adding a cheat bar and thinking ahead. it will either twist or break. No, it came out completely new, without chips, after such use it can be confused with a new one. I had the same great experience with another DeWalt outlet. I'm sold now it's DeWalt for torx heads. I might even buy some to replace my cheaper ones.

Did the job but the shaft is too long

It did the job I bought it for - replacing the belt tensioner on a 2001 Ford Taurus station wagon. But I think the length of the shaft is a downside. This application requires you to reach into the tight space between the front of the engine cross member and the passenger side wheel arch with a torx screw. (Thanks, Ford engineers.) The extra wobble that a longer shaft introduces reduces the torque applied and increases the likelihood of the head coming off. Of course, this is a specialized…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
