Based on our own experience, we cannot recommend this socket for any automotive use. While it may be durable, the quality of the construction is subpar. The socket's edges were rough and uneven, causing it to easily slip off of bolts. The biggest drawback is the high price tag - we expected better craftsmanship for the amount paid. Overall, we were left feeling disappointed and would not purchase again.

Bought to replace a cheaper socket for RV nuts that require more torque than cars. Looks very strong and easily unscrews those nuts.

Using a Dremel cutting wheel tool and about fifteen minutes I was able to modify this socket so that it can disassemble the fittings of a homebrew pin-lock keg for a much lower price than I would pay for a custom part from homebrew suppliers. In terms of quality, the frame is well made and of high quality and I would also feel comfortable in the original. shape for heavy work.
