🔧 Durable DEWALT Drill Flip Drive Kit (DW2702) for Versatile Drilling and Fastening Review

I use a flip drill every day and I'm always looking for the best and it's not the best! I can't believe Dewalt is making this thing like it's never been tested. Trust me and pay more for the best brand.

This is the perfect way to drill a hole and then drive a screw. The transition from drilling to screwing is very easy and very fast! If you don't have a drill press, this is the way to go.

The product came with the wrong size Allen key. This part keeps coming back. It worked fine in the beginning. But it's not ideal for long-term use. This wood is great for small or slow-moving construction projects.

Everything Dewalt is very well made. I use this all the time and found Revain to be the cheapest after buying it at that price and I've checked at Lowes and Home Depot and local hardware.

Positive: Magnet holds well. Switching between functions is smooth. Easy to drop and lose. I also had one from another supplier that had an allen wrench in the base as part of the tool.

I bought one about 10 years ago and it was worn out. The new design is better than Maby. We'll see if it lasts 10 years. For drywall screws, get 2700 for the #6 screw. The drill bit here makes a hole too big. I kept this one and ordered another one. Must have tools.

With this gadget I can pre-drill, countersink and insert the first screw while standing on a ladder without having to change tools. This allows me to do a lot of assembly and assembly work myself and do it better. I even pre-drill nails with this thing.

The only downside is the rather large size, which becomes an issue when working in tight spaces. I think the yellow part that says DEWALT could have been smaller. The tool works as described but as one reviewer noted it is quite bulky. As with all countersinks that use set screws, the set screws often become loose and need to be tightened. I personally didn't find this to be as useful as I had hoped and went back to using separate bits for drilling and driving.
