Drills easily in hardened steel!

After reading online that these masonry drill bits can drill through hardened steel I decided to give it a try as it is quite cheap. It definitely worked! I completely broke 2 5/32 titanium bits trying to drill through steel that was hardened by welding. I didn't even have to sharpen this bit to make it chew that hardened steel like butter. Some oil and after about 30 seconds it had a nice clean hole in it. I will definitely buy more of these if I ever need to drill hardened steel again. Just…

I bought 2 of these Dewalt masonry pieces thinking they had to be better. I finished drilling the 3rd quarter inch deep hole with a Dewalt bit and then started drilling the fourth hole. The next half inch went well, and the last…

Good quality and durability

Came from someone with very hard concrete floors in the apartment that fits. I tried some cheaper bits (at the local hardware store) and in a couple of holes I must have hit either rebar or infill because they just couldn't get past until they burned out. These guys have done a good job and they have plenty of life left. Note that the 3" length includes a 1" triangular ground shaft. In concrete, and especially with a hammer drill, you need to hold the bit well so that 1 inch isn't available for
