🔧 Durable and Efficient: DeWALT 12 Gallon Poly Wet/Dry Vac, Yellow (Model DXV12P) Review

This store vacuum cleaner offers good value for money. I use it as part of my sawdust collection system. It rolls smoothly and has many useful attachments.

Compared to my Paleolithic 3hp Genie shop vacuum, it's quieter, has better suction, rolls easier and reaches the entire shop with its 20ft cord. The hose is compatible with standard 2 1/2" accessories.

I've been using a shop vacuum for several years and wanted to get a second one to use with another table saw vacuum. I wasn't expecting this new vacuum to work as well, but it works just as well if not better than my same sized shop vacuum. It has a lot of accessories and I honestly haven't even looked at it.

I don't usually do product reviews but I'm gradually switching to Dewalt. I now have her tile cutter, miter saw, table saw and now a wet/dry vacuum. If you're used to a craft, strainer, or shop vacuum, you'll be more than happy with this one. I work as a tiler and tile/thinner grout is worse for tools and so far all of their products have worked well in my job.

This is a very well designed shop vacuum. The only hardware that is screwed into the drum and exposed from the inside are the four tool bag bolts, which sit well above the maximum fluid fill line to prevent corrosion and leaks. The oversized on/off switch doesn't look cheap, the cord is long and the cord wrap is placed sensibly. The tool bag is sturdy and fits all the included tools and more. Bought the 12 gallon version and it's great! I was expecting it to be stronger but considering it has a 2 inch hose it still sucks well. I vacuumed my nasty workshop pretty quickly, previously I used a vacuum that didn't work at all. :P With the angled nozzle, it gets a lot of suction power when the normal extension nozzles aren't enough.
