🔘 D278801 Knob by DEWALT Review

According to my experience, this knob is a waste of money. I purchased it for my DEWALT power tool, and it broke within just a few uses. The flimsy construction is not at all up to par with other Tools and Home Improvement products I have bought in the past. The only good thing about it was the easy installation. But unfortunately, that's not enough to make up for the poor quality. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I bought a large DeWalt tool kit with oscillating tools on a sale and it was a bit of bare bones. A friend bought a full set and we compared the 2 bought. He received a tool, other accessories, a battery, a charger, a case and a depth gauge. I'm starting to think he got a better deal when I put together the depth guide pieces that add to my overall cost. Anyway, the pen works fine.

This manual is useful for limiting the distance the tool can travel while working, but the following things bother me: Dewalt:1. Dewalt did not include this in its Tools2. This was to be sold as a kit. If you want to use this DCS355B oscillating instrument, you need 3 parts: 1. N278801 handle ($3.39)2. Assembly N275350 ($9.15)3. N275341 Depth Guide ($6.90) While the tool may seem cheap, it's really just one piece, and after all the necessary parts are added, it's not that cheap.
